Meet The Coaches

Daniel Stubberfield - Academy Director

Daniel passed his FA Level 3 (UEFA B) Course in November 2011. Holds FA Module 1 & FA Module 2. Daniel has worked at Blackburn Rovers Academy (since Sep 2008), is currently coaching their Under 10s Academy Team and previously worked with Manchester United Development Centres for three years. He has performed on Ewood Park as part of the half time entertainment.

Previous clubs include Lancashire FA Academy, Lancashire County, Torremolinos (Spain), Accrington Stanley, Darwen FC, Woodley Sports, Runcorn Linnets.....

Lewis Hamlin - Assistant Academy Director

Qualified Level 2 Coach. Lewis played for Bolton Wanderers for 5 years which included being captain of the Youth Team, he was a regular member of the Reserves and was also included in the first team squad in the F.A Cup. Lewis then spent three seasons playing in the Northern Ireland Premier League for Larne FC and Glenavon FC which included playing in the 2005 Irish Cup Final.

Lewis is now a member of the coaching staff at Blackburn Rovers Academy.

Marilyn Stubberfield - Office Manager

Marilyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours. A certificate in First Line Management along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Contact Centre Management.

Marilyn recently completed a Book Keeping course.

David Hickey - Super Athlete Coordinator

David is a Level 2 Coach who played semi professional football before a serious knee injury ended his playing career.

David was an original member of the S7 Team seven years ago, who has travelled the world increasing his business acumen. He has now returned to S7 and will bring his many experiences with him.

Chris Mason - Super Athlete Lead Coach

Qualified Level 2 Football & Dodgeball Coach. Chris currently plays football in the Welsh Premier League for Bala Town FC. He previously coached Bury FC Centre of Excellence Under 9s and is also a former Bury FC Youth Team scholar.

Previous Clubs include Bury FC, Chorley, Harrogate Town, Lancashire Under 18s.

Nathan Sargeson - Super Athlete Lead Coach

Nathan (Sargie) Is currently working towards his level 2 Coaching Badge, he Scouts for BRFC Academy as well as working with the BRFC Development Centre's. Nathan also works with the Blackburn Schools District Football Association at U11, U12 & U13's. He is all so works as volunteer at Mill Hill FC coaching a very successful team.

Nathan joined the S7 Team in February 2012 to help run the Super Athlete Fundraising Events as well as daily coaching responsibilities.

Ellis Gallaher - Super Athlete Coach

Jack Brierley - Head Coach

Qualified Level 2 Coach, Jack is a former Blackburn Rovers Youth Team player, and currently plays Semi Professional football for Ashton Athletic in the Vodkat Premier League.

Previous clubs include Rossendale United, Clitheroe.

Shaun Corran - Coach

Qualified Level 1 Football Coach & Level 7 Football Referee. Shaun has a handicap of 4 at Golf along with a BTEC National Diploma in Golf Studies. He was the North-West Colleges Match-play Winner in 2006-2007.

Ryan Kenyon - Coach

Qualified Level 2 Football & Dodgeball Coach. Ryan is a former Bury FC Youth Team scholar who represented Great Britain Catholic Schoolboys in Paris and Hungary.

Zack Dale - Coach

Qualified Level 1 Football Coach. Zack had trials at Blackburn, Preston & Everton Academies. He will be doing a Coaching Apprenticeship with LFA which will will give him the equivalent of 2 A Levels.

Jordan Macquarrie - Afterschools Coordinator

Qualified Level 1 Football & Handball Coach, he was the 2^nd Runner-up on SKY ONE’s TV Talent show “WAYNE ROONEY’S STREET STRIKER”. Jordan can perform eye-catching free-styling skills and tricks. He has performed his routine on Ewood Park as part of the half time entertainment.

Jordan has recently had trials at Bolton Wanderers Academy, Morecambe FC.
